We expect our events to happen rain or shine. No one, including the Race Director, wants to make changes to an event on race day. However, the safety of our participants is of paramount concern. In the event of adverse weather conditions, the Race Director may delay the event start time, cancel the event, or make changes to the race course.

There are no refunds for registration. Refunds are also not issued for Hat Run events canceled for adverse weather conditions as the funds for the event have already been spent in preparation for race day. In the event of cancellation, all participants will receive notification via email with information on how they can still receive their race packet and t-shirt. Rest assured that your registration fee is considered a valuable donation to the LSO Foundation/Hat Run and will support our programs for raising awareness of skin cancer in the community.
